| Bio: | 08/14/06 update Well, fall 2006 starts in 2 weeks, or is it 1?... Whatever. It'll come soon enough. I've been taking it easy, more like lazy - I like that. Do nothing! It's the ultimate American luxe - esp. after the Summer 1 classes! Those who know my story would know that I've taken a hiatus from work at the end of 2005 to go back to school starting Spring 2006. I'm transferring to NY for Spring 2007 for good. So, . I've been cleaning the appartment to get ready for the move. Uggh, you don't wanna know and I don't wanna tell you. Everybody knows moving's a lot of work. But I'm getting there. I'm selling what I won't be taking to NY on E-Bay: My beautiful beloved piano that is now a genuine antique (sniff!) and some furniture . Soon, there'll be a webstore where I'll be showing my wares in lieu of sales trips. Wanna know more, ask and I'll point . Otherwise, my 1st play is still not complete, nor is the cookbook! Guess what? Too much LJ!!! Uhuh, that's right. Shorter breaks, Thanh. SHORT-ER breaks, ok? Ok. Well, they'll be ready, of course, one way or another. Playwriting class in the fall should help immensely to focus. It's every friday and the rest of the week-end is all about writing . Sigh! I need a daddy to whip me when I type in "livejournal.com"... but *that* will be another distraction that delays progress - no. Not yet... Well, ok, not AS much :-) . Damn! Discipline is, in fact, S&M...? That's about it... Oh, I'll be posting soon. I know, I know... I've been saying that forever, but I'm really gonna do it now just as soon as I figure out the ins and outs of pix and links and all that good stuff, cuz there'll be a lot of pix and links to backpost for those friends who have wondered what the hell is taking me so long to do this. I'm a slacker, what can I say? But that's not it. I'll explain everything when I post. So, last but not least, after more or less 1 1/2 year roaming LJ, it is, indeed, my good luck to have built friendships and some very interesting acquaintanceships with exceptional people on here. To them: "Thank you, mes memes!". I'll be roasting you soon! :0) ---------------------- For me, LJ has mutated into a wonderful social exercise from what started out as 'a quest for interesting people and ideas'... Yeah, I know, ahemm!... Since I'm not the social type unless I relate, it's been good for me in that it's helped me lighten up some. I've always been drawn to intelligence and sharp wit and still am. But running into some very smart people in life as well as online reminds me that smart people are'nt always interesting or... happy. That is not to say that there aren't any smart people who are also interesting and happy or vice versa. It's just that happiness is, in fact, smarter and certainly more 'attractive' than 'tortured' intelligence. What good is intelligence if, in the end, it cannot find you the way to happiness? Been on here more than a month but have'nt posted a word yet! Well, at least, this update?... :) Been making friends, though, even pissing one or 2 fellow LJers off :) which is all I have time to do right now until I finish 2 writing projects I've promised myself I must complete before anything else. On top of these, there are my collections - ah yes, did I mention I design clothing and home accessories for a living? Well, I do. So, what does that make me: 'designing writer' or 'writing designer'? Soon as I finish my projects, I'll start posting. For now, au r'voir, mes memes! HUGS 05/05 update -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/05 update Wow! Summer zoomed by, did'nt it? Fall's here! I'm almost done with my first play. It's one of the 2 writing projects I mentioned above. I'm really excited about it! I look forward to posting on here as soon as the play's complete and I start work on the cookbook of my mother's culinary genius. She really is a genius. You'll see... A tres bientot!
